1. The Schola app — your data stays with you
Everything you record in the Schola app — logs, photos, recordings, schedules, reports, and anything the co-teacher analyses — is stored locally on your own device. It is never uploaded to us. We have no copy, no access, and no ability to read, share or sell it. Reports leave your device only when you choose to print, save or send them yourself.
2. What we collect on this website
- Beta signups: your name, email address, and optionally your children's stage and local authority — so we can send your beta invite and updates about Schola.
- Nothing else. We don't run advertising trackers or sell data. Our website host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, and Google Fonts serves our typefaces.
3. How we use and keep it
- We email you about Schola only — beta invites, product updates, and questions about your feedback. No spam, ever.
- Signup data is stored securely with our form provider (Netlify) and is never shared with or sold to anyone.
- We keep it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the beta programme ends and accounts replace it.
4. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely — just email us. You can unsubscribe from every email with one click. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
5. Children
Our website and beta programme are for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal data about children through this website — and the app is designed so your children's information never reaches us at all.
